• The character functioning as decimal point (decimal separator) is shaped like reverse comma or small subscript 'c':
  

  Treatment: capture character as &decimalc;

• Parentheses are used oddly, e.g.
  
  apparently means '1500 divided by 16 equals 93.75' (or '16 into 1500 yields 93.75').

  Treatment: capture the special parentheses as if they were ordinary ones:

  1500 Ounces are in a Talent; which Number divided by 16, the Ounces of a Pound <HI>Averdupoise,</HI> gives the Pounds <HI>Averdupoise</HI> in a Talent, thus 16)1500 (93&decimalc;75. The Quote shews that 93 Pounds and three quarters of a Pound <HI>Averdupoise,</HI> are in a Talent.
